Well, I missed my post yesterday for my challenge. My raw diet would not say has been terrible on me, but it has had some ups and downs. I believe I am on the upswing now, but just feeling a little drained. Sometimes I can plan and prepare and research all I want, but nothing ever quite turns out how you want it to. That right there is sometimes a mental hurdle to overcome, the realization that what you wanted to do is not working quite right, and learning to modify from there rather then get frustrated and quit.
My energy and drive has crashed the last couple of days, and while I have wanted to drop aspects of my challenge to lighten the load, I think I am still going to keep plugging. There is no way I am going to complete each item every day, I can see that now, but at minimum, I will keep them on the to do list and try to improve as the month goes on.
Here are my results of my main goals for both day 7 & day 8:
Sunday Day 7
- 100% Raw diet – Complete (update here)
- Wake 5:30 AM (weekend time)- Complete
- Meditate 20 mins – Complete (had a great 90 minute session of meditation and writing)
- Work Goals – NA
- Exercise – Sunday is a rest day
- House Tasks 30 Mins – Complete
- Update Blog – Incomplete, But, I did do about two hours of work on the site in the morning.
- Prep food for next day – Incomplete
In the evening when I usually wrap up my website entries and prepare food for the next day, I was not feeling well. I feel like I am fighting this challenge every step of the way. I am definintely going to take a break I think in July and August, make sure I am not burning out on challenges by cranking them one after another.
Monday Day 8
- 100% Raw diet – Complete (update here)
- Wake 4:30 AM – Complete
- Meditate 20 mins – Incomplete (going to try and meditate before bed tonight)
- Work Goals – 3 of 6 completed, still very rough around the edges – Incomplete
- Exercise -Incomplete
- House Tasks 30 Mins – Complete
- Update Blog - Complete
- Prep food for next day -Complete
This evening I was probably the low point, hoping for improved energy tomorrow. Need to maybe spend some time posting my goals for this month in visible places. Hoping to meditate this evening, get my head around the root issue to my lack of focus.
Day 8 is coming to an end, time to rally the troops I think.
