Catching up a bit, seems like it has been super busy as of late.
Tomorrow is technically the last day of my raw challenge, although I have been migrating a few small cooked proteins in each day to prepare for transition (and because my stomach finally dictated it). Not much, today I had about a 1/4 cup of organic plain yogurt (not raw), and a couple small slices of cooked egg on my salad at lunch. Yesterday, I had about 1.2 cup cooked chicken on a salad with dinner. I had a couple cooked eggs the day before that. That is about it for cooked foods though, otherwise I am still raw, veggies only (couple cashews tossed in there). I find that I am a bit reluctant to add in much for cooked foods, just a small amount seems to satisfy my hunger.
I spent tonight going through all my receipts to see the grand total of cost this month. It wasn’t actually as bad as I thought it was going to be, but still not an improvement over my normal bill I am trying to reduce.
I have a good summary of my 30 day challenge started, just need to wrap that up with a few more thoughts, some of these cost details, and will post that up in the next day or two.
Overall, even though this was by far my bumpiest challenge, I think it went well. Still a few problems, but quite a few positives to offset any issues that came up.
