My running challenge today almost was missed. I did not feel very good today at all, and came home from work exhausted with a bad headache.
I finally started feeling a bit better late in the evening, so while I did not run, I still got on the treadmill and did a fast walk for awhile. I also did some stretches and some light hand weights while I walked.
SO, it technically was not a run, but I am happy I put in the time at minimum. Off days have killed my momentum in the past, and happy that I did not let this one totally make me miss my treadmill time.
After doing some research a few days ago and posting on a forum I like, just to make sure I was planning well for my runs, many folks recommended a day off each week. I think I may do a non run day now and again replaced instead with a fast walk, I guess today would be one of those days. I am not going to schedule them in, I will just listen to my body, and if it says it needs a rest, I will take it easy.
